Filipe
Alarcão

Filipe Alarcão is a renowned Portuguese designer graduated in Design by the Lisbon University – Faculty of Fine Arts and Industrial Design by the Domus Academy, in Milan, where he worked with Michele de Lucchi. He lives and works in Lisbon. At his own design practice Filipe Alarcão Designstudio develops projects of industrial and furniture design, urban design, lighting, ceramics and glass. More recently extended the scope or his work to fields such as interior and exhibition design, as well as design direction curating projects for Portuguese companies like Vista Alegre/Atlantis and Amorim Cork, among others.
He is a recipient of a Portuguese National Design Award and held a personal exhibition at MUDE. Lisbon Design and Fashion Museum in 2012.
